Joe and Kathy Curatolo make philanthropic giving look like the best party in town!

Joe and Kathy were inspired to start supporting Roswell Park over 25 years ago in gratitude for the care that Kathy received as an adolescent cancer patient.   Wanting to make a larger impact, Joe and Kathy created an endowed fund to support quality of life programs for pediatric cancer patients.  Their funding over the years has supported the Teen Prom, the Pediatric and Adolescent Annual Holiday Party and pediatric and adolescent patient and family attendance at music events and concerts.

In 2011 the Curatolos decided to merge Joe’s passion for cycling with the Ride for Roswell to create a team, “Kids Just Want to have Fun”.   This group of riders has year’s goal of $150,000 was surpassed by nearly $30,000 and will help fund their newest initiative - the Kathleen and Joseph Curatolo Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Visual Arts Program.

“We want to do all we can to give back to Roswell, both now, through the Ride for Roswell and other support that we can offer, as well as in the future with our legacy gift, says Joe. “Roswell Park saved Kathy’s life and we are eternally grateful.”
